Our client is currently in search of a skilled Software Engineer with relevant expertise to join our dynamic team in Warrenton, Virginia. ing to the Technical Team Lead, this role presents an exciting opportunity.

In the midst of our client’s rapid expansion as a frontrunner in the swiftly evolving counter-UAS/counterdrone sector, our client is actively seeking an adept Software Engineer. Your primary focus will involve seamlessly integrating our state-of-the-art technologies with esteemed Government clients and partners. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse technical skill set, demonstrating adaptability and versatility. You should be adept at collaborating with both internal tech teams and external engineering units, comprising our valued customers and partners.

Responsibilities:

• Devise, create, and implement scripts and services aimed at seamlessly integrating advanced sensors into our web-based Command and Control (C2) platform.
• Translate intricate business requisites into software solutions that deliver exceptional levels of availability, reliability, and performance.
• Collaborate with partner and customer entities to conceptualize, design, and optimize distributed systems that align with their specific expectations.
• Foster close collaboration with a team of multidisciplinary engineers across the United States and Australia.
• Assume operational ownership for the services within your team’s domain.

Must Have’s:

• BS degree in Computer Science, similar technical field of study or equivalent practical experience
• 3 to 6 years of software development experience in Go (Golang), Python and/or JavaScript
• Must be a US Citizen
• Experience with sensor integration and distributed ‘IoT like’ systems
• Experience with web application development, Unix/Linux environments, developing large software systems, microservice infrastructure and/or security software development
• Strong networking and scripting experience
• Comfortable working with customers and partners to communicate solutions to complex problems

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $160,000.00 – $180,000.00 per year

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
