Your Opportunity

You will be joining Mission Australia’s Centre for Evidence and Insights, a multi-disciplinary team that that inspires curiosity for evidence that leads to action. In this role you will be responsible for providing accurate and high-quality analysis, reporting and data support to assist with the Impact Measurement and Evaluation Strategy across the organisation.

Your key responsibilities will be to:

• Provide data support to extract, consolidate, clean and transform internal data sources ready for analysis.
• Undertake data analysis (descriptive inferential statistics) and generate relevant data insights to report on the effectiveness and impact of MA’s services
• Communicate effectively with no-technical users about data and analysis
• Develop and maintain strong collaborative relationships with key internal and external stakeholders

Requirements for Success

• 5 years’ experience in a similar role, undertaking data analytics or statistical analysis for evaluation/research initiatives
• Experiences in undertaking advanced quantitative data analysis involving large data sets (i.e. building predictive models), including the use of statistical software packages (i.e. SPSS)
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
• Proven ability to build strong, respectful and robust relationships
• Proven ability to synthesise and analyse complex information
• Covid vaccination is mandatory
