Miss Davis Tutoring is an online tutoring service offering one to one and group tuition for students between the ages of 5-18 (Year 1- Year 13). We know that every student learns differently and that no one student is exactly the same so for that reason, we ensure that our sessions are bespoke and tailored to each student and their individual needs. We believe that there should be no barrier to prevent students from becoming who they are truly destined to be and our main vision is to ensure that we assist our students in becoming just that.

Job description

The applicant’s main duties will include; preparing innovative and purposeful English lessons, delivering lessons (online), setting and marking homework, communicating with and relaying information to parents.

APPLICANTS MUST HAVE:

Have access to a computer/laptop.

Strong and efficient communication skills.

Extremely organised with attention to detail.

Excellent written and verbal skills/ interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently effectively.

Professional and friendly attitude.

Be enthusiastic and passionate about teaching and working with young people.

(An enhanced DBS is also required however it can be processed if the applicant does not have one.)

Flexible working hours.

Preferably, applicants will hold a degree in English or any of the Humanity based subjects. Both qualified and unqualified applicants welcome to apply however, a competent background in English is essential.

Applicants should be able to; Provide 2 references, have evidence of safeguarding or be prepared to complete training.

Part-time hours: 3-10 per week
