The Role
We are looking for a confident and hands-on HR Advisor to join our global remote team for a 6 month contract, with the potential to extend. This truly generalist role proactively supports our Aussie founders based in HK, Global Leadership team and wider global team across Australia, New Zealand, US, Philippines and more, all whilst working from home.
We take flexibility seriously at Miss Amara! For this role we are open to candidates who are able to work 21 hours (equivalent of 3 full days), ideally across 3-5 days, Monday to Thursday. Our core hours are 9.30am to 4.30pm so this means if you have other commitments like needing to do school drop off/pick up we can work in with your availability.
This role is ideal for someone who cares about making a difference and positively influencing culture. Your exceptional communications and organisational skills and ability to adapt and change with energy and enthusiasm will allow you to make your mark on the team.
Reporting to the Head of Employee Experience, with a dotted line to the founders, you will be responsible for improving employee experience at all levels by providing expertise and advice across all aspects of HR and contributing to and implementing key HR strategies and projects. With a Global Team of approximately 70, you will be acting as first point of contact for all HR queries from our staff. You will be supported by our talented HR Co-Ordinator.
A normal day in this role will give you the opportunity to use your broad generalist skills and could include coaching and providing day to day support to managers on people issues such as engagement/general HR policy/legislation, performance management and appraisal, recruitment, L&D and facilitation, reporting and analysis, compensation, onboarding, WHS, and termination process including redundancies.
