The Opportunity:

Are you a highly organised individual with strong communication skills and a commitment to delivering high quality services to stakeholders? We are looking for a proactive, reliable, and motivated person to join our friendly and supportive HR team as a Talent Acquisition Specialist. This fixed-term part-time (32 hours per week) opportunity has become available due to the current incumbent taking maternity leave and will commence in mid-January 2023.

The Role:

Reporting to the Human Resources Director, the Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for supporting the business to attract and engage top talent. This role acts as a trusted advisor and partner to hiring managers, working with them to develop and execute targeted sourcing strategies and recruitment plans.

Duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Collaborating with leaders to understand workforce plans and hiring requirements, and developing tailored sourcing strategies;

• Undertaking end-to-end recruitment processes utilising innovative tools for talent acquisition;

• Supporting the redesign of talent acquisition systems, methodologies, tools, templates, and procedures;

• Being the first point of call for data and insights on external trends, opportunities and challenges that shape the candidate and employee experience;

• Reporting on the status and outcomes of recruitment activities;

• Actively building and sustaining effective working relationships with other members of the Human Resources Team.

You:

• Have a passion for customer service and achieving high quality outcomes

• Some experience in recruitment or talent acquisition would be an advantage – but is not essential

• Enjoy a fast-paced environment with ability to manage your time effectively

• Great stakeholder engagement and communication skills – providing advice and influencing to obtain the best possible outcomes

• Willingness to learn and develop skills in recruitment

• A strong teamwork focus and willingness to assist team members as required
