Key Responsibilities
Develop an effective working relationship with the team at Mintel
Update and maintain HR systems with accurate information
Update organisation charts
Compose and produce standard letters and reports using IT applications and HRIS systems
Send resignation acknowledgement letters and corresponding administration
Provide reference letters as requested
Provide full admin support for the onboarding of new starters informing the relevant teams of start dates
Assist with preparing new starter inductions
Inform payroll of all changes for current employees, starters and leavers
Provide day to day advice to employees on general HR related queries, policies and procedures, escalating more complex issues to the HR Manager.
Acting as first point of call for all employee queries relating to company benefits, annual leave etc
Organise and publish the monthly company newsletter MinTelegraph with editorial contributors
Assist with the organisation of internal and external HR and social events
Manage correspondence as appropriate
Skills and Experience
A passion for administration
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
Excellent communication skills – verbal and written
Strong Microsoft Office Suite Skills
Ability to problem solve and use own initiative
Team player with a flexible approach
Ability to work to deadlines and under pressure
Ability to deal sensitively and appropriately with confidential information
Trustworthy
