*Job Summary*
The Senior Instructional Designer will be responsible for analyzing, designing, developing and evaluating training to improve organizational effectiveness using a variety of training tools and techniques. This position will create training that addresses organizational performance and learning needs of MINT Dentistry. This includes the onboarding training program for all new hires, skill enhancement/improvements courses to drive continuous education and learning, system/technical training and management fundamentals. This role will require a strong level of project management skills and tools to successfully manage multiple projects that may have competing priorities. Additionally, the Sr. Instructional Designer will build strong working relationship with team members and management to develop training and provide ongoing support. This includes building a strong partnership with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) across MINT Dentistry to effectively develop training content that meets the learning objectives outlined. In this role, the Sr. Instructional Designer will also provide direction to less experienced peers while leading knowledge sharing sessions in design and development to drive improvement in learning solutions

1. Perform needs analysis and suggests instructional approach; estimate timeline and resources; design and develop courses; administer production, quality control and implementations.
2. Design courses using adult learning principles and integrate interactive concepts and activities in both instructor-led and distance formats to encourage knowledge application, retention and skill development
3. Ensure training deliverables are developed with high quality and within efficient timelines
4. Execute change control and maintain up-to-date training material
5. Manage multiple design projects using project management tools and methodologies
6. Resolve issues to determine creative solutions and training methods based on organizational need
7. Research and implement new and emerging technologies or process to evolve the company’s courseware offerings to increase learning effectiveness
8. Review training content developed by Instructional Design Team; Share feedback and knowledge on training solutions
9. As necessary, performs other related duties of which the above are representative.
Minimum Qualifications
The following qualification statements reflect the minimum skills and abilities required of the qualified applicant.
1. Job Knowledge and Skill:
Strong understanding of evidence-based education, cognitive learning theory and instructional design and development.
Strong understanding of ADDIE model when building effective training and performance support tools
Excellent consultative, analytical and problem solving skills.
Highly collaborative and able to build strong relationships internally and externally across all lines of business
Highly demonstrated ability to author course content from end-to-end.
Ability to effectively deal with ambiguity, cope with change and shift direction as needed to address organization goals and objectives.
Detail oriented and exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
2. Experience:
Minimum eight (8) years of experience developing courseware and self-paced training.
Experience managing projects from intake through deployment phases with training management team

4. Education:
Bachelor’s degree; in Education/Instructional Design/Training preferred
5. Computer Skills:
Minimum eight (8) years of experience using rapid development tools such as: Articulate Studio, Storyline, Captivate, Camtasia and Adobe Creative Cloud application.
Experience in selecting and manipulating graphic images for use in learning materials using imaging and design programs such as Adobe Photoshop, Snagit or other tools.
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft OUTLOOK, PCRS, other PC applications, or mainframe applications to produce non-standard, creative products.
Certification in Adobe eLearning Suite or equivalent instructional design tool preferred.
