About the opportunity
Our business is expanding which means we need your expertise in our Queensland office!

A newly created role is now available for an experienced blue-collar Senior Resourcing Advisor to join our Resourcing & Training and Compliance team in Coopers Plains, Qld.

Reporting to our Resourcing Superintendent in WA, you’ll be responsible for building our Queensland talent pipeline and assisting our Operations Manager with resourcing our East Coast and PNG based projects.

This role will focus on high volume recruitment which will include all trades-based roles including leading hands, supervisors and superintendents.

You can expect your days to look like this:

• Completing job briefs in consultation with our Operations Manager to capture accurate resourcing requirements
• Talent sourcing using our database, your networks, and other sourcing methods to find the best people possible to join our team
• Conducting face to face interviews
• Completing background checks, including booking pre-employment medicals and conducting reference checks
• Work closely with our WA based Training and Development team to ensure tickets, licences, qualifications and VOC’s are valid and compliant with our client site requirements
• Create and prepare contracts and onboarding paperwork
• Bring your ideas to the table to assist in the ongoing review and improvement of our onboarding processes and procedures
• Reporting as requested by our Resourcing Superintendent and Planning Manager

What you’ll need:

• Previous experience in a high-volume recruitment environment with a focus on heavy industry is beneficial to your success in this role, but essential
• Demonstrated experience in bulk screening techniques will be highly regarded
• The ability to multi-task and prioritise your workload whilst working to rapid deadlines
• Communication is key, and you are confident liaising with all levels of staff and candidates
• High level of attention to detail, and are comfortable navigating your way around various CRM systems and excel spreadsheets
