Minnesota Math and Science Academy Hiring for Mathematics Teacher (Grades – ) at Saint Paul, MN Full Time

Middle School Mathematics Teachers hold primary responsibility for the implementation and development of curriculum and the success of its students. Therefore, MMSA seeks middle school teachers who are committed to continuously improving curriculum and instruction through collaboration as part of a grade level team. We are seeking teachers for the following subject areas:

• Science

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES OF MIDDLE SCHOOL MATH TEACHERS

• Math Teachers implement curricula and activities to meet academic standards;
• Math Teachers design and implement assessments that measure progress towards academic standards;
• Math Teachers use assessment data to refine curriculum and inform instructional practices;
• Math Teachers participate in collaborative curriculum development, grade-level activities, and school-wide functions
• Math Teachers provide consistent rewards and/or consequences for student behavior
• Math Teachers are accountable for students’ mastery of academic standards;
• Math Teachers communicate effectively with students, families, and colleagues;
• Math Teachers participate in an annual three-week staff orientation and training;

QUALIFICATIONS

• Evidence of self-motivation and willingness to be a team player;
• Bachelor’s degree is required;
• Valid State Certification required or the ability to receive it . Belief in and alignment with MMSA’s core beliefs and educational philosophy is non-negotiable.

COMPENSATION

We offer a generous compensation package. All staff members are equipped with the tools needed to succeed, including a dedicated work space, laptop computer, email, high-speed internet access, and all necessary supplies.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $40,000.00 – $50,000.00 per year
