Essential Requirements

The successful candidate will have:

• Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent executive level experience in financial, business or health services management, with eligible membership of a recognised Australian professional accounting body.
• Extensive experience at an executive level, with a record of achievement, in financial leadership and management, budget processes, pricing and costing of services, monitoring financial and business performance, business management, commercial strategy, data analytics, performance reporting and financial governance.
• Extensive knowledge of the shared support services model and how this approach to service provision offers opportunities for enhancing organisation performance, competitiveness, business value, customer service and the optimal delivery of public services. A thorough understanding of current trends and issues in shared services provision and the development to maturity of shared services businesses will be necessary.

This is an ongoing, full time, Band 2, Health Service senior executive (HSSE) role. An attractive remuneration package starting at $301,768 to $337,213 per annum will be negotiated with the successful applicant.
