We are searching for an enthusiastic and motivated Assistant Recruitment Advisor to join the Workplace Relations Branch within the Ministry of Health, where you will enjoy being the first point of contact for candidates, potential employees and new recruits
About this role
We are currently in a period of exciting growth, striving to deliver a seamless end to end recruitment process for our internal stakeholders. As the Assistant Advisor, you will partner with the Recruitment Advisors to manage and coordinate end to end recruitment campaigns. The Assistant Advisor will undertake various transactional recruitment activities via our internal Applicant Tracking System (ATS) as well as other support services to facilitate the smooth operation of the recruitment team.
We are searching for an enthusiastic and dynamic professional who has a strong ability to multitask, in a fast paced and high volume work environment.
The team is very close knit, with all roles depending on the other. The team has a great reputation within the business and we are looking for our next team member to join us on our candidate care and customer service journey.

About the Branch
The Workplace Relations Branch is within the People, Culture & Governance division of the NSW Ministry of Health. The Branch is responsible for leading human resource and workplace health and safety policy for the Health system, and the human resources strategy and functions for the Ministry of Health, and the Health Executive Service.

About you
We are looking for a candidate who is excited to learn new skills as well as bring their current skills to the role and wants to make a positive impact to the recruitment process.
Ideally our successful candidate will have:
- Demonstrated experience working in a HR transactional or recruitment environment in a busy complex organisation
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources or an equivalent field
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft packages
- Proficient planning and prioritisation skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Be a team player!
Duties
Your usual day will include a range of end to end recruitment tasks such as:

Advertising and closing roles

Creating recruitment materials to assist Hiring Managers throughout the process

Collecting and recording relevant documents ensuring legislation requirements are met

Taking ownership of our internal Applicant Tracking System

Managing and maintaining internal recruitment spreadsheets and files
-
Various adhoc and recruitment tasks and projects
