The Support Officer forms part of the headquarters staff of the Universities Department and is responsible for providing administrative, financial, and logistical support to enable the department to operate efficiently, effectively and economically in accordance with regulations, policy and directives.

This position is advertised at 37 hours per week
ePC Manager. Co-ordinate the issuing of ePCs and ensure that URNUs are operating them iaw corporate governance direction. Reconcile all ePC returns and advise ePC holders on the process and procurement of goods.
Motor Transport Officer. Act as the ADO for the department, disseminating direction and guidance as issued by Navy Command. Conduct checks on individual unit’s Motor Transport (MT) Standing Orders, approve all maintenance on department vehicles and ensure that URNU Coxswains, as local MTOs, have completed the MT Supervisor Course and are trained on Clarity Console.
Line Management and General Responsibilities. Reporting officer for two E1s. Facilitate development of staff in accordance with extant policy and guidelines. Build constructive working relationships with BRNC colleagues to help support the delivery of wider Defence and Royal Navy outputs. Maximize the use of resources (including time) and promote the highest standards of behaviour, including through being inclusive and encouraging diversity.

The post does not offer relocation expenses.
