Job description
You will be expected to work within one of 4 teams, depending on the need and workload, gaining you exposure and awareness of a wide spectrum of administrative tasks and outputs. Regardless of which area that you are employed, you will be working as part of a small but enthusiastic and specialised team and will receive training and development, ensuring that you over time develop a broad understanding of various aspects of HR delivery. You may also be expected, once you have developed sufficient experiance and understanding of your subject matter, to deliver low-level training to new arrivals, enhancing the ability and understanding of your peers:
Pay & Movements: Ensure that Service Personnel are in the receipt of the right pay, entitlements, allowances and other benefits, as laid out by policy. Providing advice and guidance to personnel on their eligibility and circumstances.
TCOS: Managing and administrating the Terms & Conditions of Service (TCOS) for personnel in the Armed Forces. Managing maternity, terminations, Continuous Education Allowance (CEA) and other aspects of Service life.
Commitments: Supporting personnel that have been selected to deploy home or abroad on Operations, ensuring that they are prepared from the moment they are informed through to their safe return home.
Recruits, Reserves, Appraisals & Expenses: Management of the processing of Recruits and Reserves, annual appraisals and the approval and audit of financial expenses for Service Personnel within the region.

Benefits
New entrants to the civil service will be entitled to 25 days paid leave, rising to 30 days after 5 years’ service. You will also be entitled to 8 public/bank holidays.
