We are seeking eleven senior finance professionals across a range of financial disciplines to support the growing Defence Nuclear Finance Team. In order to be successful in the roles, you will have extensive experience in providing a finance business partnering service to senior officials and budget holders, financial accounting and/or financial control. You should be able to proactively create and maintain positive, professional and trusting working relationships with a wide range of people within and outside the organisation.
You will be motivated by identifying connections and reaching out to bring people together. You will support the leadership of the DNO finance function responsible for finance staff across our three locations (London, Bristol and Aldermaston).

The sift assessment will be based on the examples given against the required Behaviours, as well as the experience demonstrated in the CV and Statement of Suitability.
Candidates will be required to complete an online CV template to include job history, full details of education and qualifications and previous experiences and skills.
Candidates will be required to complete a Statement of Suitability of no more than 1,000 words, outlining their preferred role or roles, skills and experiences and suitability. Please also include relevant qualifications in your statement.
If there is a high volume of applicants, the sift will be carried out on the Leadership Behaviour only. However evidence should be provided against all behaviours requested.
As a result of the changes to the UK immigration rules which came in to effect on 1 January 2021, the Ministry of Defence will only offer sponsorship for a skilled worker visa under the points based system, where a role has been deemed to be business critical.
The role currently being advertised has not been assessed as business critical and is therefore NOT open to applications from those who will require sponsorship under the points based system.
