Job description
As the Administration Officer, you will be responsible for the oversight of permanent staff mandatory training, the production of course related administrative paperwork, and you will collaborate and communicate with a wide variety of stakeholders (Defence Intelligence Training Group (DITG) and course applicants) to oversee the efficient and professional administration of the unit.
You will manage course information, producing and recording arrivals paperwork as well as archiving students’ grades and reports on successful completion of courses. You will also support the building custodian maintain the Health and Safety and Fire Safety polices. You will attend and minute internal meetings and represent the unit at DITG meetings. You will be responsible for collecting, sorting and distributing mail as well as ordering and maintaining stock levels of office equipment and stationery.
Responsibilities
As part of this role, you will work closely with the Wing Warrant Officer and be the first point of contact for initial queries relating to courses run at the school. The ability to work well with others and in a supportive and constructive manner is essential.
You will be organised and pro-active, with good judgement, lots of initiative and an ability to work at pace as you prioritise your workloads and deadlines.
You will be able to work autonomously or as part of a team and have excellent presentation and communication skills, both verbal and written.
Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Office 365 applications including SharePoint, Excel, Outlook and Word is essential.
