Mining.com.au is seeking an enthusiastic Marketing Assistant to join our dynamic team. As a Marketing Assistant, you will be working hand in hand with our Head of Marketing to create, post, manage and monitor content across our website and social.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare the daily Newsletter in close collaboration with the content and creative team
• Monitor and on client traffic, visibility, and performance across all channels monthly and yearly
• Develop and execute comprehensive social strategies to optimise brand visibility and engagement across diverse platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok and YouTube.
• Manage monthly ad spend across multiple social platforms
• Curate and generate compelling, high-quality content for our social media channels, encompassing well-crafted written posts, captivating images, engaging videos, and informative infographics.
• Implement a meticulously planned content calendar, ensuring consistent and timely delivery of content, while considering seasonal trends, industry events, and company announcements.
• Monitor and analyse social media and newsletter performance using advanced analytics tools, providing regular s and valuable insights to refine strategies, enhance audience reach, and maximise engagement.
• Remain up-to-date with the latest trends, best practices, and emerging social media platforms, proactively suggesting innovative ideas to elevate our social media presence and drive substantial growth.
• Engage actively with our followers, promptly respond to comments, messages, and mentions, fostering meaningful conversations that build brand loyalty and nurture valuable customer relationships.
• Collaborate seamlessly with internal teams, including marketing, content, and design, ensuring alignment of marketing efforts with overall marketing objectives and adherence to brand guidelines.
• Conduct thorough social listening, closely monitoring industry-related conversations, identifying engagement opportunities, and delivering timely and relevant responses to pertinent discussions.
• Uphold a consistent brand voice and tone across all marketing channels, ensuring messaging aligns harmoniously with our company’s values, mission, and target audience.
• Conduct comprehensive competitor analysis to identify marketing trends, benchmark against industry competitors, and recommend strategic differentiators to fortify our company’s presence.
• Stay well-informed about relevant industry regulations and compliance guidelines, meticulously ensuring that all marketing content strictly adheres to legal and ethical standards.
• Continuously monitor and optimise our social media profiles for enhanced search engine visibility (SEO), employing relevant keywords, meta tags, and descriptions to maximise organic reach and impact.

Requirements:

• Excellent written English and communication skills
• Proven experience in social media management will be highly regarded.
• Ability to deliver under tight deadlines and effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficient knowledge of SEO and social media best practices, consistently staying ahead of industry trends and advancements.
• Familiarity with industry-related topics and terminology is preferred.
• Excellent collaboration, and project management skills, with a keen eye for detail.
• Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
