As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for generating new business and nurturing existing business in the mining and mining services fields. Initially booking in our Director of Sales with prospects and managing the CRM, the role will evolve into selling regular feature articles and advertisements on our website.

Responsibilities

Cold Outreach via Phone and LinkedIn:

• Conduct proactive cold outreach via phone calls and LinkedIn messages to engage with prospective clients.
• Articulate the company’s value proposition and tailored solutions to capture the interest of potential clients.

Relationship Building:

• Establish and cultivate long-lasting relationships with prospective clients, key decision-makers, and industry influencers.
• Engage in meaningful conversations to build trust and credibility for the company’s products and services.

CRM Management:

• Maintain an updated and organised Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system on a daily basis.
• Document all interactions with prospects, ensuring accurate and timely data entry.

Daily ing to Director of Sales:

• Provide regular and comprehensive s to the Director of Sales, detailing progress, key performance metrics, and pipeline updates.
• Collaborate with the Director of Sales to develop strategies for continuous improvement.

Collaboration with Content Team:

• Work closely with the content team to identify potential revenue opportunities from existing and new content initiatives.
• Leverage content assets to attract and engage potential clients, nurturing them through the sales funnel.

Requirements:

• B2B sales experience (media sales preferred)
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Self-starter – highly organised and focused
• High energy, in-market prospector
• Consultative solutions seller
• Good technology skills including CRM experience
