Summary/Objective

The Customer Service Representative is responsible for providing effective customer service for all internal and external customers by using excellent, in-depth knowledge of company products and programs as well as communicating effectively with employees involved in the order fulfillment process.

Essential Functions

• Maintain files and follow up on all customer quotes.
• Enter customer orders into Sales Pad.
• Provides timely and accurate information on customer order status and product knowledge requests.
• Follows up on orders in various stages of the manufacturing process to ensure delivery by specified dates.
• Informs customers of unit prices, shipping date, anticipated delays and any additional information needed by the customer.
• Processes customer orders/changes/returns according to established department policies and procedures.
• Works closely with the credit department to resolve disputed credit issues.
• Provides timely feedback to the company regarding service failures or customer concerns.
• Compiles statistics and prepares various s for management.
• Direct customer inquiries on product specifications and applications to appropriate engineer / division.
• Meet and exceed customer’s service expectations.

Work Environment

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and photocopiers. A moderate level of interaction with coworkers on the manufacturing floor will be required.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00a.m. to 4:30p.m.

Required Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 1 – 3 years prior customer service experience
• Microsoft Office Proficiency

Preferred Education and Experience

• 3 – 5 years prior customer service experience
• Prior experience in the microelectronics’ industry
