About Us
Minerva is an executive search firm that was set up in 2013, primarily with a focus on the education, cultural and social impact sectors. We work with organisations and people to drive positive change for the future. In 2019, Minerva founded its schools’ practice which is now well established and looking to grow. We primarily advise schools in the independent sector on senior leadership appointments, but also work in the academy sector. We are team driven and operate in a way that is warm, open and down to earth. We particularly pride ourselves on our responsiveness to clients and the sensitivity and humanity of our candidate care.
Who we are looking for
We are looking for at least one researcher to join our educational practice: you might be a recent graduate with an interest in school education or someone with prior experience of schools who would enjoy working on senior leadership appointments. We are open minded about experience. What matters most is having an enquiring mind and being curious about people and their interests. You need excellent communication skills in all areas, including in person and on the telephone and must be a team player who can connect with people and convey ideas articulately and convincingly. Candidates will need to be a self-starter with a keen eye for detail and possess an ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines.

Indeed, an interest in business development and good grasp of the context in which schools operate would be a distinct advantage. Researchers work closely alongside consultants at every stage of a search allowing for a close level of involvement in the delivery of our work, as well as providing support and professional development to you in the role.
