About the role

Our Group Accounting team is seeking a Financial Accountant to assist in supporting senior members in the team to meet the business growth. Based in Applecross, we will be moving to our new corporate office in Osborne Park later this year. Your duties will include:

• Providing day-to-day financial support of the Corporate Finance Team, ensuring key monthly, quarterly and annual deadlines are achieved
• Budgeting and forecasting of key MRL central functions
• Treasury department collaboration, including Group cash flow, including daily reporting
• Assist in the maintenance of group suppliers, novated leases and accounts receivable
• Design, implement and maintain internal controls and continuous improvement opportunities across different finance processes
• Assist the Corporate Finance team with other financial reporting requirements as and when required

What you’ll bring to the team

• 5 years post-grad experience in corporate finance
• Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Commerce or similar
• ERP system experience
• Working towards CA/CPA qualification
• Professional level of Microsoft Office, in particular Excel
• A pro-active approach with the capability to adapt to changing priorities
