Are you looking for an opportunity to showcase your Financial Business Partnering skills and really build a Management Accounting function, developing and shaping the function with the support of your manager? This is a position for which we are looking for an expert in working with the business in forecasting and budgeting, well versed in variance analysis and all areas of management accounting. Your responsibilities:

• Preparation of monthly management accounting PPT for EU Finance & Business Management
• Monthly/Quarterly business partnering calls with EU Management to discuss key topics from PPT prepared
• Timely and accurate preparation of monthly group management information
• Reviewing and reporting AR aging, Inventory aging, Capital Expenditure, Head Count, Expense analysis and others
• Reviewing and advising on cost centre accounting
• Revenue reporting including margin analysis
• AR/Cash flow forecasting
• Analysis of monthly management reporting from the European operations. Including a cost to serve report
• Involved in budgeting process, included preparation of templates/monitoring of budget/uploading to SAP
• Undertake quarterly forecasting for EU entities with support from local finance teams and uploading to SAP
• Prepare analysis of actual performance vs forecast vs budget
• Accounting systems and process improvement
• Close liaison with EU region Accounting & Tax Managers to resolve issues
• Ad hoc finance projects
• Ad hoc duties to support EU Finance Management

What are we looking for in you?

• Previous experience of working in a management accounts role and will be comfortable in the culture of an entrepreneurial European growth business.
• Interpersonal skills to develop cross functional relationships, communicate clearly and concisely and provide challenge where appropriate.
• Organisational skills to prioritise workload and meet deadlines with a positive approach to getting things done.
• Ability to see the big picture view whilst maintaining attention to detail.
• An understanding of key cost drivers.
• Relevant Accounting or Business qualification with strong previous experience in an accounting role. (ACCA/ACA/CIMA).
• Highly numeric/strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced level spreadsheet skills and PC literacy.
• Strong written reporting skills.
• Strong commercial acumen.
• Drive to continually improve processes and seek new challenges.
• Ability to work under pressure, working accurately with attention to detail, and meeting deadlines.
• Willingness to travel.
• Ability to be flexible.
• Knowledge and professional experience of SAP.
• Ability to work in the UK without the requirement of company sponsorship
• Experience in Power BI / Tableau would be beneficial
