The Shipper and Receiver will perform general physical activities to load, unload, sort and move shipments by hand or using material handling equipment.

Manage verification, acceptance, counting, and inputting into CRM system of all outgoing goods with proper documentation.

Duties and responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Promptly unloads trucks and deliveries and sorts and stocks receivables.

• Book trucks and schedule pickups/drop offs in time and manner to meet requested dates.

• Do domestic and international paperwork (print labels, PROFORMA, BOM, commercial invoices, packing slips)

• Maintains an accurate log sheet of daily moves.

• Maintains a clean, neat, and member-ready area.

• Problem solves for customers and suppliers about shipping routes, delayed items, and rush orders.

• Keep customers informed about their orders. Send shipping confirmations, tracking information.

• Verify and update tariff codes accordingly.

• Shipping customer service (calls/emails)

• Engages with vendors, customers, and drivers with a positive attitude.

• Assist shop activities when required by supervisor

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent

• 3 years of shipping and receiving experience.

• Must have a valid forklift license.

• Ability to lift to 50 lbs.

• Extensive knowledge of major couriers – FedEx, Purolator, UPS, etc. including how to operate their respective software packages.

• Experience with preparing international shipments including customs documents.

• Good written and oral communication skills

• High attention to company’s health & safety rules

Salary: $43,473.00-$59,797.00 per year
