Job Description

• Coordinate shipping, receiving, and distribution activities, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of goods.
• Lead and supervise warehouse staff, including hiring, training, and performance management.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and implement measures to create a safe working environment.
• Organize warehouse space efficiently, implementing strategies to maximize storage capacity and improve workflow.
• Oversee the fulfillment of customer orders, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Implement quality control processes to maintain the integrity of products during storage and handling.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as procurement and transportation, to optimize overall supply chain operations.
• Generate s on key performance indicators (KPIs) and warehouse metrics, providing insights for continuous improvement.
• Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to support the company’s strategy.
• Optimize resource allocation to maximize efficiency, including personnel equipment, and reduce costs.
• Monitor and maintain quality standards for products or services, ensuring they meet or exceed customer expectations.
• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, including 3PL operational support, freight, returns, receiving, parcels, and transfers.
• Responsible for the daily import/export logistics and compliance processes.
• Responsible for preparing and running daily cycle count s maintaining accurate records of any reconciliation of same.
• Prepare month-end s promptly; develop and maintain s and documentation to facilitate accurate incoming/outgoing shipments.
• Maintained classified materials and personnel records and supervised the flow of correspondence, files, and communication.
• Ensure duty drawbacks are handled promptly, allowing for all associated expenses.
• Monitor logistics services (invoicing, packing list, SED) on all export documentation.
• Provide quarterly s to insurance brokers, supplying all international shipping information and invoice costs.
• All terminal personnel and operators must comply with the rules and regulations of all of the OSHA, DOT and other governmental agencies.
• Resolution of internal and external customer issues.
• Monitor and manage inventory levels, ensure accurate stock counts, and implement systems to track and optimize inventory.
• Bachelor’s degree (B. A.) and/or 5 – 7 years experience in warehouse leadership.
• Major Plus – Bi-lingual in speaking, reading, and writing in English and Spanish fluently.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Must have valid driver’s license and comfortable driving own car.
• Strong expertise in developing, implementing, and communicating channel programs.
• Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
