Milton Keynes College have an exciting opportunity for a Deputy Education Manager to join our Prison Education team at HMP Manchester.

As a successful Deputy Education Manager, will work closely with the Education Manager to manage all aspects of the department, ensure the day-to-day-smooth running of the department and its staff and support the achievement of outstanding learning, teaching and success effectively and efficiently.

You will support the Education Manager to plan and manage the deployment of staff and resources by supporting the department to deliver high quality courses that meets the needs of the learners, prison and Milton Keynes College.

About HMP Manchester:

HMP Manchester, is a Category A and men’s local prison which accepts people remanded into custody from the courts in the Greater Manchester area, currently holding approximately 1238 prisoners. The prison opened in June 1868. In 1963 it was decided that the prison would no longer hold women prisoners, and in 1980 it began to accept remand prisoners.
