The Role

Mills Oakley is hiring a full-time Marketing Assistant to join our national marketing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing efficient marketing services to the firm and our partners. This role requires a motivated, organised and detail-oriented individual with the ability to work within a fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities include:

• Proposals and capability statements: assist with the content creation, preparation and submission of proposals and capability statements.
• Website: daily maintenance and updating of the Mills Oakley website.
• Branding: maintain the consistency of Mills Oakley branding on all internal and external collateral.
• Client communications: assist with the creation and publication of all communications including newsletters, collateral, and email campaigns.
• Social media: assist in the creation of content for all Mills Oakley social media channels including Twitter and LinkedIn and monitor and on all firm social media campaigns.
• Business development: assist in the planning and implementation of marketing strategies for national practice areas and individual team members. Provide support as needed regarding tailored BD initiatives to stakeholders and fee earners.
• Events: assist in all aspects of event coordination including scheduling, invitation production, site procurement, and catering.
• Collateral: assist with the design and creation of all Mills Oakley collateral in the Adobe Suite programs InDesign and Photoshop.
• CRM: daily maintenance of the firm’s client relationship database.
• Sponsorships: organise and assist with all sponsorship opportunities being pursued by Mills Oakley at any given time.

Who We Are Looking For

• A capacity for multi-tasking and an ability to work under pressure when required.
• Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently.
• The ability to maintain strong relationships with both internal stakeholders and external service providers.
• Ability to demonstrate initiative and utilise creative thinking to provide innovative solutions to the firm’s needs.
• Knowledge and experience with using programs such as Photoshop, InDesign and Canva is highly preferred, however, training will be provided should you not have these skills.

This role is a full-time position with standard working hours being between 8:30am to 5pm. The successful candidate will commence with the firm in January 2024.
