Miller Creative, Inc Hiring for Social Media Coordinator at Chicago, IL Full Time

Miller Creative is a team of passionate creators who design, write, and animate cool stuff. We use video, immersive XR technology, and instructor/web-based technologies to transform our clients’ communication and learning. Through storytelling, we create interactive solutions that help our customers effectively engage audiences, train employees, and market their services.

We are seeking a full-time Social Media Coordinator. The new role will manage Miller social media accounts, implement social media posting strategy, and create new content. Light marketing responsibilities may be required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop social media strategy for Miller, and work to create established communities
• Develop content as needed, utilizing video, photography, and graphic design
• Create content in both long and short form
• Produced engaging and skilled written material for public facing channels
• Research and analyze emerging new media opportunities
• Develop necessary relationships ongoing and proactively
• Analyze current trends and emerging technology in social media and make appropriate recommendations on how to integrate them into the agency’s social media efforts
• Track metrics on user interaction across channels, and produce s for leadership on a recurring basis
• All other duties as assigned

Experience and Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in social media management, preferably at a creative agency
• An interest in design and the creation of learning experiences, and a passion for our work
• Experience in building social media presence, in the absence of established presence
• Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
• Some skill in video and photography preferred, for content creation (there is a graphic design team)
• Strong and engaging writing skills

Education

• Bachelor’s degree preferred
