Automotive Painter

Millennium Luxury Coaches, a large and steadily growing Prevost converter located in Central Florida, is looking for an experienced automotive or aircraft paint technician, to join our paint department.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Strong buffing and polishing skills

• Ability to spray a variety of paints and finishes

• Must have experience cutting and buffing polyesters, urethanes and acrylic clear coats

• Apply primer, top-coat paint, and any spray-applied coatings to detailed parts, sub-assemblies and major assemblies of vehicle exteriors to customer or company specifications and industry quality standards

• Polish and wax finished surfaces by cutting and buffing finished surfaces

• Familiar with and have operational knowledge of department tools

• Perform moderately complex to complex filling operations related to the cosmetic appearance of the part being worked

• Remove excess material and prepare the surface for finishing

• Perform masking operations

• Seek methods to cross train to develop technical skills and business knowledge

Experience:

Minimum 1 year

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 – $25.00 per hour
