Millcreek Metals Hiring for Remote Heavy Equipment Operator at Blackfoot, ID Full Time

Millcreek Metals is a premier metal recycling company servicing the Southeastern Idaho Region. Our remote heavy equipment operator is responsible for the processing and removal of scrap metal at various job locations.

Basic Responsibilities:

• Safely operate industrial heavy equipment at our remote job sites
• Sort through and load scrap metal into third party trailers with the use of material handlers
• May have to help transport scrap material back to the yard
• Inspect equipment before and after use
• Communicate need for maintenance or repair to the maintenance department
• Adhere to safety policies and procedures
• Provide exceptional customer service to clients and customers
• Any other duties/tasks as assigned

Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• 2+ years previous heavy equipment operation
• Class A CDL preferred but not required
• Previous experience in a manufacturing heavy industrial environment preferred
• Strong work ethic
• Dependability
• Ability to lift upwards of 50lbs safely
• Able to safely climb in and out of equipment
• Customer service mentality
• Ability to work independently on job sites with minimal supervision
• Ability to work remotely at varying job locations for long periods of time
