Job Description

Our client is a premier chemical company being at the heart of Europe’s chemical industry. Their products are used in some of the most demanding applications and are fundamental raw materials for industry sectors as diverse as automotive, building and construction, paints and adhesives, food, healthcare and medical, personal care, pulp and paper, textiles and water treatment.

As Mechanical Engineer you will ensure the safe and efficient operation of the Chemical Plant mechanical assets by:
 

• Ensuring compliance with legal and company mechanical and civil engineering standards

• Specifying and scheduling equipment inspections and remedial works working closely with pressure systems competent person

• Reviewing condition monitoring reports and initiating maintenance when required

• Reviewing in service equipment failures and specification of repairs

• Development of plant overhaul and asset life plans

• Monitor competence of mechanical tradespersons

• Qualified to HND

• Chartered (desirable)
