We are seeking to recruit a HR Officer who will be a key member of the HR team and will play an active role in working in partnership with the HR Manager and HR Administrator to provide high level, professional, efficient, and effective service to the Schools’ across the Foundation whilst maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information.
Main duties and responsibilities:
Provide first line HR advice, guidance and support responding promptly and accurately to enquiries and resolving all matters on HR processes and procedures, whilst escalating more complex issues, as appropriate.
To work closely with the HR team to provide coherent and consistent HR support across the entire Foundation.
Deputise for the HR Manager as and when required.
To contribute to the continuous improvement of HR systems (iTrent) and practices.
To undertake HR projects as and when required.
Complying with all statutory regulations in respect of safer recruitment, safeguarding and Health & Safety and Employment Law.
Work closely with the Recruitment Manager to ensure smooth onboarding of candidates and support with volume recruitment of staff as and when required.
Assist the HR Manager in implementing and communicating the annual incremental salary increases for all staff.
Absence monitoring – process and actioning any necessary changes in payroll.
