The Role ( full time 40 hours per week )

As a motivated MILAN therapist your primary role will be to provide beauty therapy and skin treatments with a focus on Eyelash Extensions, Waxing, Manicure, Pedicure, Skincare, Massage, Dermalogica professional services and our wide range of non invasive face and body treatments.

Outside of performing your key beauty therapy treatments and services you will be expected to:

• Greet your clients and offer refreshments
• Provide information on our complete range of skin, beauty and massage treatments
• Keep an up to date record of your personal calendar and online bookings accurately
• Make appointment reminder calls to clients when required and check online appointment reminder text has been auto submitted
• Send out and follow up requests for information and encourage the caller to book a treatment/consultation
• Ensure salon hygiene and environment procedure is completed daily

In addition as a Retail Specialist you will provide expert advice on skin health in the form of Dermalogica’s customised Face Mapping Skin Analysis and coach consumers through their personalised skin care needs at the Dermalogica skin bar. You will be responsible for driving the success of the Skin Bar ensuring monthly targets are met and outstanding customer service is consistently delivered. On going Milan retail training and support will be provided throughout your role.

The Candidate

Our ideal candidate will have proven experience in all beauty therapy with a focus in skin treatments or massaging therapies. In addition you will have a knowledge of the skin care industry with exceptional retail skills. You will love working with skin care products and be passionate about educating consumers about their skin. We seek a charismatic, results-oriented, self-motivated candidate with a proven track record of success. Previous experience in retail and beauty therapy including specialist skills in one to one eyelashes application, facial treatments and or massage therapy will be highly regarded, and a strong selling ability will secure this role.

You will have:

• Qualifications in Beauty Therapy ( minimum NVQ level 2/3 diploma)
• Ability to work flexible hours across a 5 day roster
• Excellent communication skills
• A successful sales track record is required
• Energy and enthusiasm combined with a passion for skin care
• The capability of promoting a friendly, cooperative team environment with the ability to also work autonomously as required
• A passion for customer service

Salary: £18,525.00 to £20,475.00 /year
