Miga Hiring for Credentialing Specialist at Remote Full Time

I’m excited to open this position for a Credentialing Specialist, because the work will directly impact the number of lives we can serve (and save). As one of the first 15 people at Miga, you’ll be joining a fast-paced, dynamic team working to build the future of heart health.

Who is Miga?

• Miga is a virtual cardiometabolic clinic that currently treats hypertension, hyperlipidemia, diabetes, and obesity, using medications and intensive dietary and fitness interventions. The care is augmented by connected devices and a patient mobile app.

• Searching for a Credentialing Specialist who is motivated to help grow Miga and build the future of heart health

• Salary range = USD $55,000–$75,000 for full time work, including stock options

What will I do?

• Prepare, submit, and track Miga providers’ initial and reappointment applications for Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payors

• Work with providers and operations team to ensure accuracy of identifying information, education, training, certifications, professional affiliations, licensing, claims history, and work history

• Provide timely responses to day-to-day credentialing issues as they arise, including responding directly to payor requests and resolving claim denials related to provider enrollment

• Add and remove providers to / from insurance panels as needed

• Work with our contracting partners to secure group contracts for Miga

• Maintain accurate department database for providers

• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of insurance company requirements and regulatory guidelines related to clinician credentialing

• Provide routine s to providers and operations team regarding the status of participation in insurance plans

What is Miga looking for?

• Minimum of two (2) years of credentialing experience in a healthcare setting (hospital, community health center, telemedicine company)

• Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) preferred

• Must be proficient with PECOS, CAQH, NPPES as well as the credentialing and re-credentialing process

• A high level of attention to detail with exceptional organizational skills

• Someone with contracting experience, or interest in learning about and participating in payor contracting

Compensation Range: $55K – $75K
