Miele Amusements is seeking the ideal CPA candidate to join our team. Miele Amusements is Pennsylvania’s leading amusement and distributor of Pennsylvania Skill games. We are a diverse company that has seen rapid growth in the last five years. With this growth, we are looking for a candidate that can hit the floor running.

The ideal candidate has in-depth knowledge of bookkeeping, auditing and budgeting procedures with the ability to monitor daily transactions. In addition, this individual is expected to recommend ways to improve the firm’s financial health and communicate clearly to the collective team. Previous work experience, along with a degree in Accounting and a CPA qualification is required for this role.

Duties & Responsibilities:

§ Prepare, analyze, and report weekly, monthly, and quarterly gross margins.

§ Assist in month-end closing and inventory.

§ Work with IT departments for system issues and use software and spreadsheets to help with cost decisions on production.

§ Participate in budgeting procedures.

§ Prepare financial forecasts.

§ Work with costs in developing MRSP.

§ Regularly brief management on the company’s financial position and recommend solutions to improve results.

§ Lead, develop and implement effective accounting policies and processes.

§ Set clear goals and expectations for the accounting team

§ Oversee ledger reconciliation and manage accounts payable/receivable.

§ Keep up on the latest trends relating to accounting and train accordingly.

Skills:

§ Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical skills.

§ Advanced understanding of accounting software and MS Excel.

§ Has experience working with an ERP system.

§ Good communication, leadership and organizational skills.

§ Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

§ The ability to relate and engage well with others.

§ Excellent customer service.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45.00 – $58.00 per hour
