Recycling Sales Representative

Midwest Fiber is looking for an executive level sales professional to help us continue our planned growth in brokerage sales.

The position is based out of our home office in Normal, IL.

Position

This expansion-based position will do prospecting and cold calling, will develop new and nurture and grow existing relationships, will travel as needed (not heavy travel) and make deals, recording activity and progress in our CRM program.

This position will initially focus on sales in the southeast – South Carolina, North Carolina, Alabama, Georgia, Florida

Qualifications

• 5+ years outside sales experience required, experience in recycling industry is a plus. Experience with logistics, selling supplies or equipment into recycling companies would also be pluses.
• Ability to travel up to 20% overnight
• Self-motivated, likes to set and achieve goals, someone who enjoys climbing the mountain
• Ability to work independently and a part of a team
• Someone who likes doing that little extra that sets them and their organization positively apart from others
• Consultative and strategic approach
• Creative thinker who enjoys problem-solving
• Establishing/maintaining effective relationships
• Strong organizational/time management skills
• Demonstrated excellent communication
• Honest, with high integrity
• Is able to “walk a mile in their shoes” – understanding diverse perspectives
• Current/Valid Driver’s License
