Wastewater / Collection System Operations Specialist

Midwest Contract Operations, Inc. (MCO) is seeking a self-motivated and reliable individual to join our operations’ team. Principal duties will include operations and maintenance of a wastewater collection system and associated wastewater pumping stations located in the Fox Lake area (Wisconsin), with as needed operational and maintenance assistance provided from supporting MCO staff. A general working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and collection and pumping systems is preferred; however, all levels of experience will be considered. This position requires a valid driver’s license, and MVR search. A work vehicle is provided. MCO will provide training for the position, and assist the applicant in obtaining the required operator certifications. The applicant should have a mechanical aptitude, work well with others, and feel comfortable communicating with other team members, and community members. This position requires the ability to stand for several hours at a time, stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, twist, lift up to 50 lbs., and maintain clean and organized work areas. The candidate must be willing to use appropriate safety equipment when required. This is a full-time position with a work schedule during weekdays with on-call work required.
