Right now, we are investing heavily in our organisation, and our people. Our Administration Centre has relocated to a brand-new state of the art facility designed to inspire innovation, creativity and collaboration. The building has been named ‘Yalawanyi Ganya’ which means “sitting/meeting place” in the Gathang language of the indigenous people across the MidCoast Region.
The role
An exciting opportunity has become available for Human Resources Business Partner, motivated by best practice and with a true customer service focus.
Reporting to the Senior HR Business Partner, the HR Business Partner is responsible for delivering high quality people outcomes to the Liveable Communities division of MidCoast Council. This includes delivery of the following services: provision of general HR advice and coaching, job design and evaluation, recruitment and selection, onboarding and probation, performance reviews, grievances, recognition and reward, remuneration systems and employee separations.
To be successful in the role you will be a confident and experienced HR Generalist; you will have the ability to build rapport, trust and commitment; experience providing accurate and timely HR support and advice to both office based and operational staff. You will be able to partner with stakeholders to ensure an understanding of their business needs and develop high quality people outcomes.
Your qualifications, experience and capabilities:
The package: Commencing salary package circa $75,600.00 per annum.
Location: This position will be based at our Administration Centre Yalawanyi Ganya at 2 Biripi Way, Taree. You may also be required to be based from other Council sites across the MidCoast Council region.
Tenure: Permanent, Full Time.
