Mid-South Roof Systems Hiring for Accounts Payable Assistant (Part-Time/Fully Remote) Job at Remote Full Time

Mid-South Roof Systems is looking for an experienced, part time (16-20 hours per week), fully remote AP Assistant to provide both administrative and financial support in the accounting department. Some job duties or projects may require an occasional day in the office. Essential duties and responsibilities include:

• Collects and verifies invoices, bills and checks by performing pre-audits to ensure both accuracy and appropriateness prior to payment.
• Corresponds with vendors, maintains updated vendor profiles, and processes vendor checks.
• Monitors account balances and related financial activity.
• Dana entry for high volume of invoices.
• Performance of routine accounting practices to accounts payable.
• Ensure correct job cost coding on invoices
• Management of electronic file folders
• Assist on special AP related projects as needed
• Assist in production of reports and exports from AP software
• Proofing monthly vendor statements against AP aging reports
• Fill in for AP Specialist as needed
• Assist in production of payment to vendors when needed

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 – $26.00 per hour
