Requirements
- 3-6+ years Equipment Repair experience required
- Must be able to obtain DOT Med Card
- Valid Driver’s License required
- While performing the duties of this job, the associate will be required to move frequently, stand, walk, and sit.
- The associate is frequently required to use hands to touch, handle, and feel, and reach with hands and arms.
- The associate must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50lbs and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100lbs with assistance.
- Must be able to read and write reports.
Nice To Haves
- Diesel Program Certificate or Degree from college or technical school Preferred
- Valid CDL is a PLUS, not required
- ASE Certifications are a PLUS, not required
Responsibilities
- Electrical, Engine, and Transmission Diagnostic Ability is preferred
- Cummins engine and Allison Transmission experience a Plus
- Work could include but not limited to: cooling systems, heavy duty chassis, suspension, and brakes, etc
- Modify, and repair of older equipment
- Communicate directly with Lead Tech, Customer Support Manager, and Customer Support Rep
- Provide accurate updates and time frames on all unit status’
- Welding and Fabrication Skills are a Plus
- MUST HAVE A TEAM MENTALITY
- Implement and enforce Health and Safety rules, regulations, policies, procedures, and prescribed instructions
