Seeking an Accounts Payable/Receivable/Receptionist for our Mt Pleasant, IA location.

POSITION SUMMARY

Answer and route all incoming phone calls to the appropriate person. Greets all guests coming into the facility. Work with Buyers, Managers, Accounts Payable and Vendor Reps. to ensure timely reconciliation of all variances between Purchase Orders and Vendors Invoices. Coordinate the reconciliation of AP Recon issues.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Answer all incoming phone calls and route those calls to the appropriate person.
• Distribution of AP Recon issues to the Buyers.
• Make reconciliation entries as instructed by Buyer and Manager.
• Track/Enter Vendor debit memos.
• Verify the receipt of Priced Order Acknowledgement on all PO’s.
• Track and follow up on ALL Vendor Credit Forms (VCF’s).
• Assist Accounts Payable in identification of Vendor credits.
• Identify and track the reasons of AP Recon occurrences.
• Review Customer credits for product return handling.
• Scanning of all AP documents, delivery tickets, and other documents as necessary
• Other duties as assigned by supervisors/managers

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

• Assertive, clear and concise written/oral communication skills.
• Ability to clearly communicate on the phone.
• Strong accounting background.
• Be detail oriented and have outstanding organization skills

• Have problem-solving skills and experience.
• Communication, Written – Ability to communicate in writing clearly and concisely.
• Follow oral and written instructions.
• Ability to multi-task effectively.

Education

• GED/High School Diploma. Accounting classes is a plus.

Experience

• Accounts Payable or Accounting experience is preferred.

SKILLS & ABILITIES

• Highly experienced Microsoft Office user; and, demonstrated adaptability with other company integrated systems.
