Job Summary

• We are excited about transforming our customers into “AI natives,” where technology augments their ability to achieve more with the files, web pages, news, and other content that people need to get their task done efficiently by providing them timely and actionable notifications that understands their intents, context and adapts to their work habits. We are building a large-scale distributed system on top of SharePoint, O365 Substrate, Azure, a micro-services architecture, Machine Learning and more. We’ll approach our problem space with empathy for the change our customers are undergoing with the cloud. We achieve more through partnerships with and providing notification capabilities to many apps across O365 delivering billions on notifications, functioning as scenario and customer experts. What you’ll do

• Responsible for developing or testing computer software applications, systems or services.
• Evaluate requirements, estimate development costs, design and implement the software, review the design and implementation, improve the development process, perform unit testing, communicate status, analyze risks and compromises, integrate software into a larger system, or diagnose and resolve issues.
• Work autonomously on specific software feature areas or components, contributing broadly to product development and demonstrating characteristics of emerging technical leadership.
• May be assigned to various projects that utilize the required technical skills to deploy successful product releases, from early product definition and scoping to detailed specification, implementation and roll-out phases.

What we’re looking for

• Bachelor degree in computer science or related field
• 3+ years of professional software design and development experience with at least one of C/C++/C#/Java
• Prior experience with developing large high-scale micro services, with service-oriented development and cloud-based systems.
• Strong technical abilities, problem solving, design, rapid prototyping, coding and debugging skills.
• Great collaboration skills. We have partner teams across the company and globe that you will be working closely with.
