About The Opportunity
Our Finance team, based at Micromine HQ in the Perth CBD, are currently seeking a Senior Financial Planner & Analyst to join them. In this role you will provide financial analysis and insight to support our Executive with major corporate decisions.
Micromine has a growth agenda, what we are calling our ‘Quantum Leap’, which sees us doubling in size within the next 2-3 years. This position will play a key role in helping drive these growth ambitions.
Reporting to the Head of Commercial Finance, your key responsibilities will include:

• Forecasting cash flow for the Micromine group.
• Consolidating data from global teams into the corporate budget and forecast.
• Ensuring budgeting and forecasting accuracy by analysing revenue recognition and recurring revenue streams.
• Reviewing historical results against expectations and analysing variances to drive improvements.
• Evaluating corporate financial activities, mapping future company growth, and helping develop 3 and 5 year plans with the CFO and Head of Commercial Finance.
• Creating, updating, and maintaining financial models of future company operations.

About You
You will have a strong track record in financial analysis, and with delivering FP&A business outcomes, including the capacity to interpret economic trends to develop growth plans.
Other key skills, experience, and qualifications:

• A tertiary qualification in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or Management.
• Strong financial modelling and interpretation ability.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint proficiency.
• Whilst not essential, previous exposure to either the Software, Technology, or Mining industries will be highly regarded.
