About The Opportunity
Our Technology team, based at Micromine HQ in the Perth CBD, are seeking expressions of interest from graduate / junior Software Engineers for positions commencing in early 2022. In these roles you will work within a global team of experienced developers, on a wide range of projects, to create cutting edge software solutions, such as our Micromine software suite.
Micromine is a comprehensive solution that provides integrated tools to some of the world’s largest mining companies for exploration, modelling, estimation, 3D mine design, optimisation, and scheduling.
Reporting to the Software Development Manager, your key responsibilities will include:

• Interpreting functional requirements and enhancing Micromine’s software design.
• Developing efficient data processing algorithms.
• Developing quality and maintainable code in C++.
• Developing user friendly software that’s localisable and user friendly.
• Documenting implementation and deployment details.

About You
You will have an aptitude for mathematical solutions and complex data processing algorithms, as well as a passion for problem solving through software development.
Other key skills, experience, and qualifications:

• A tertiary qualification in Computer Science or Software Engineering (distinction level or higher).
• Proficiency with C++, however, we will cross-train candidates with skills in C#, Java, or similar languages.
