DUTIES &
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Generating reports and collating data from the financial Programs. Send the Trust reports each month to the General Manager and Department Managers.
- Process accounts receivable when needed and scanning Invoices into the automated Receipting program Lockr.
- Direct Debit set up and process tenant Direct Debit Dishonours when needed.
- Preparation of daily banking (and posting)
- Complete daily Bank Reconciliation
- Liaise with and assist other staff members in the Finance team as required to ensure all work is completed accurately and within given time frames.
- Undertake other duties as required ensuring that all tasks are completed accurately and within a timely manner with a professional and ethical approach.
SKILLS &
COMPETENCIES
- Computer literacy and proficient in Excel is essential
- Proven experience in accounting functions such as receivables and reconciliations.
- Familiarity with accounting practices and terminology.
- Quick learner with ability to grasp new computer programs.
- Proven high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Demonstrated excellent communication and organizational skills. Flexibility, time management & the ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Certificate in Accounting or Bookkeeping highly regarded but not essential
