The Unit for Laboratory Animal Medicine (ULAM) is hiring an administrative manager associate healthcare. This position is responsible for leadership of the administrative team, inventory management team, project management, and IT support. This person will be pivotal to enhancing the ability of our service teams to provide efficient and time sensitive service. Providing oversight and leadership in the following categories:
Strategy & Project Management
The ideal candidate will be highly organized, have experience managing complex tasks, and experience supervising staff. They will need to have knowledge of database functions, University systems, and cross functional teams that work in lock step with our Animal Care and Use Program. The position requires strong verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal skills, and strong organizational skills including attention to detail.

Background Screening
Michigan Medicine conducts background screening and pre-employment drug testing on job candidates upon acceptance of a contingent job offer and may use a third party administrator to conduct background screenings. Background screenings are performed in compliance with the Fair Credit Act.
