Michael Page Hiring for VP of Finance Job at Dallas, TX Full Time

The VP of Finance will be responsible for the operations and management of the Accounting & Finance aspect of their home building division. This will include:

• Project accounting for 70+ active projects
• Manage the monthly draw/funding process for each project with constant communication with vendors/ subs and contractors
• Processing Supplier, Vendor, and Misc. Invoices
• Work with the Accounting team to manage cash flow
• Review and negotiate subcontracts with vendors
• Manage insurance for all related parties
• ad hoc project work
• Updates and presents monthly project budget updates including any necessary re-forecasts

The ideal VP of Finance will have the following characteristics:

• 8+ years of experience working in an Accounting function with a Real Estate company- prior development or construction experience a plus
• BA in finance, accounting or related field.
• CPA not required but a plus
• Extremely detail oriented and organized
• Team player, but ability to work as an individual contributor
• Confidence in your ability to make an educated decision and back it up with data
• Works well in a fast moving environment and under pressure!
