Our client is an expanding agri-food business with a growing portfolio of fine food and beverage brands for domestic and international markets, exporting to over 40 countries. They are a family-owned business committed to improving animal welfare and strives towards industry leadership throughout a vertically integrated beef business and aquaculture operations.
Job Description
If successful for this role, you will be responsible for but not limited to:
- General ledger and financial reporting matters.
- Fixed Asset and lease accounting.
- Tax compliance and statutory reporting.
- Execute key financial controls as part of the control framework
- Project Work.
- General process improvement activities
The Successful Applicant
In order to be considered for this role, you will have:
- Bachelor degree in the field of Commerce/Business/Accounting
- Professional accreditation (CPA/CA/CIMA)
- Previous experience in relevant Financial Control teams and environment
- Leadership experience and a proven ability to effectively influence and lead through business partners.
- Excellent communication skills (written and oral), high level interpersonal skills and sound judgment.
- Excellent stakeholder management, ability to deal with multiple stakeholders and handle competing priorities.
- Operates collaboratively amongst a range of non‐finance business leaders.
- Demonstrated problem solving capability. Identifies issues, proactively finds solutions and sees to completion.
- Adaptable, flexible and comfortable with ambiguity.
- Excellent time management, organisation and prioritisation. Working with a high level of autonomy.
- High level of Commercial Acumen and analytical skills.
