As Head of Finance Business Partnering, you will play a pivotal role in driving their finance service forward and directly to the Executive Director of Finance.

You will provide direction to the finance business partner team and ensure all management accounts are produced on time.

Description

The key responsibilities of the Head of Finance Business Partnering:

• Lead in the planning, coordination and review of the annual budget setting and quarterly forecasting process
• Manage the team to ensure that the Management Accounts are routinely produced on time
• Plan the forecasting and budgeting process, ensuring that all stakeholders are aware of the requirements and timelines
• Ensure that all budgets and forecasts are profiled and uploaded to the finance system
• Provide relevant and appropriate personal development and training to your team
• Lead on the provision of forecasts/budget
• Contribute to the production of regulatory returns
• To develop processes and procedures for the Business Partnering team- including processes and procedures for budget setting, forecasting and monthly management accounts
• To support the delivery of a robust and efficient year-end process
• To be involved in internal audits
• Provide a customer-focused service as part of the Finance team to the organisation and external customers and stakeholders.

Profile

The successful Head of Finance Business Partnering will have:

• A CCAB-approved accountancy qualification (e.g. ACCA / CIMA / CIPFA / ICAEW)
• Experience in leading and supporting a team and ensuring personal development and training needs
• Extensive experience in finance business partnering and have a track record of building credible relationships with stakeholders
• Ability to influence and a high standard of numeracy, literacy and accuracy to senior colleagues and external stakeholders
• A Commercial focus, embedding and instilling a culture of Value for Money across the team
• Understanding of sector and regulatory development and experience working in social housing sector
• Experience of developing processes and procedures to ensure continuous improvement
