Manager, NA Email Marketing

Who You Are:

As the Manager, NA Email Marketing, you are responsible for leading the strategic planning and optimization of the email channel. This unique opportunity is a highly visible leadership position within the organization and you will lead a talented and driven team in a fast-paced environment. This position will further develop Michael Kors’ relationship with our customers throughout their entire lifecycle while driving a growing, active customer base through retention. You will work cross-functionally to implement email marketing strategies with a focus on driving demand, increase rev/circ, improve personalization, and enhance targeting via segmentation.

What You’ll Do:

• Leads long range strategy and planning; set engagement and financial goals for promotional, lifecycle marketing and triggered marketing in addition to total email file goals.
• Work closely with merchandising, planning, creative, copywriters, and marketing teams to prepare marketing plans that are consistent in story-telling a season or campaign.
• Ensure email tactics are sufficiently planned to achieve campaign objectives, provide program and industry trends to inform the creative approach, and close the loop with campaign insights to inform future executions.
• Plans daily email performance informed by recent trends in the channel, business indicators, and past performance to plan engagement, conversion, and revenue metrics.
• Lead testing, segmentation and content personalization in email by using data-informed recommendations to best optimize email to drive the business.
• Leads analysis on email performance recommending and implementing action items, new tests, and any areas of opportunity for advanced segmenting.
• Identify and implement initiatives to drive email file growth and file health by partnering with CRM team to increase file of emailable addresses and identify data capture opportunities
• Act as main point of contact managing Michael Kors’ relationship with Email Service Provider (ESP), clearly communicating needs for ongoing business and scoping requirements for new initiatives
• Implement and optimize email programs related to loyalty, in collaboration with the CRM team
• Lead the program evolution by implementing new email initiatives such as customer journeys, enhanced segmentation, optimized trigger programs.
• Collaborate with other digital channel stakeholders to design multi-channel lifecycle journeys.
• Manages email financials and contracts across the global business.

You’ll Need to Have:

• Bachelors (B.A. or B.S.) from a four-year college or equivalent
• 5-8 years of experience leading email marketing
• Strong knowledge of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint a must
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, “self-starter” environment
• Team-player with excellent relationship-building skills

• Preference for candidates that are comfortable with Adobe/Omniture and Responsys
• Effective time-management and project management skills; create and maintain timelines; work and execute within deadline
• Strong leader, ability to drive the email team in their learning and development, helping them identify solutions to challenges and identifying opportunities and pathways for growth
• Ability to understand business trends and how such trends impact traffic, conversion, and average order value as it relates to the email channel.

Compensation Range:

$90,000.00-$150,000.00
