What You’ll Do:

As part of the Global L&D leadership team you will work together to continuously challenge, improve, and refine the impact of L&D related management and program delivery throughout the organization.  Through garnering the support of the broader senior executive team, you will shape the creation, evolution, management and execution of L&D related strategies around the globe to support talent development and the achievement of strategic business goals. 

You will be responsible for establishing and executing a development strategy that enhances the skills, knowledge and abilities of employees, facilitates the achievement of business goals, and builds the Michael Kors culture. This individual will facilitate training programs for all retail employees and will collaborate with senior management to understand the long-term vision of the company and proactively plan and design programs that support global and regional training initiatives.

• Represent Global L&D as lead retail business partner (Lifestyle, Outlet, Shop in Shops and Collection)
• Assess training and development needs and determine initiatives needed to support Retail divisions in achieving their business goals
• Develop business driving strategic content
• Facilitate in-store, regional and large-scale trainings with enthusiasm and conviction
• Consistently coach field leadership with a focus on enhancing their effectiveness and productivity
• Partner with regional L&D teams to ensure consistency and best practice sharing
• Manage and develop US based team members
• Measure the success of programs through KPIs/metrics and take action based on insights
• Lead by example and positively influence stakeholders, clients and teammates

You’ll Need to Have:

• Bachelor’s Degree
• 8+ years, including learning & development experience in a leadership capacity
• Proficiency in MS Microsoft computer applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Strong knowledge and understanding of retail
• Proven team management skills leading, motivating, managing assigned team members to effectively deliver predetermined learning goals and objectives
• Project management skills and expertise
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Receipt of the COVID-19 vaccine is a requirement for this position, subject to applicable exemptions.
• Flexibility to work in office (hybrid schedule)

Compensation Range:

$117,000.00-$195,000.00
