Who You Are:

What You’ll Do:

• Responsible for the entire product design process including trend research, design boards, sketching, tech pack development, BOMs and fit in collaboration with Senior Designer
• Understanding the Michael Kors aesthetic and translate it into appropriate and exclusive products
• Ensure that product is consistent with seasonal concepts and storytelling as well as business strategy and vision
• Bring innovative ideas to build strong and elevated collection
• Create computer technical packages and collaborate with internal and global cross-functional partners to develop 1st prototypes and showroom samples
• Communicate and collaborate with merchandising, product development and technical design teams on regular basis
• Partner with designers in other categories to ensure a cohesive Men’s collection
• Lead a fitting with tech design and production team
• Source and develop new fabrics and trims

You’ll Need to Have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design
• 3-5 years cut & sew knits design experience, menswear experience is a plus
• Expert design, technical sketch and conceptual skills with high attention to detail
• Advanced sketching skills in Illustrator
• Strong sense of silhouette, color, material and trim
• Excellent experience in Photoshop, Illustrator, Microsoft Word, Excel and PLM
• Full understanding of garment construction and detail

• An overall passion for design, particularly Menswear, where every detail is considered and thoughtfully executed.

Compensation Range:

$90,000.00-$150,000.00
